Went to Terrible’s Champagne brunch. $8.99 with a 2/1 coupon. I give it thumbs up. They had large crab claws, drawn butter, lox and bagels and really good smoked fish and wonderful fresh fruit. However, I’m getting hate the casino. I’ve yet to see a slot pay off, and they don’t have any of the Boom or Reel em In or Filthy Rich.
From there we went over to Golden Gate to check on the Honky Tonk Angel show. That night they were going to feature Conway Twitty who is not one of my favorites. If you don’t belong to the GG slot club you should join just to get the T-shirt. It’s the coolest one I’ve seen. On the front it has a “Seven” slot with 3 7’s in white. On the bottom it says, “Hot Slots” in white and below that it shows the GG marquee in white. The casino has a Penny Arcade, and although I’ve never stooped to playing casino games like penny slots before, the place was hopping. The casino also has tons and tons of $3 BJ tables so you can move around a lot if you don’t like how your hands are going. However, Harry didn’t like their BJ rules.
